Intuit’s suggestions for fixing this are to try, in sequence: In the case that I’m using as an example here, rebooting didn’t resolve the problem. This was a client who rarely reboots, always has the computer “sleep” instead.I like to reboot my systems fairly often, to clear out problems that tend to accumulate in memory. This is always a good idea if you are running into problems – as long as you are careful.Interestingly, I’ve only seen this issue with Enterprise clients. When starting Quick Books the following error message displays: Clicking “OK” here usually generates another error that will specify the particular DLL that has the problem – it isn’t important which one it is.Quick Books error 1328 can happen during the repair process, as well as when you try to updating, repairing, installing, or uninstalling Quick Books..I will try my best to resolve this error but if you can’t fix it after the solution.

Sometimes this content cannot be removed, causing problems with Quick Books ability to repair or update itself.

I will have to telephone Intuit to discover how to proceed.

It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. You might also receive Error 15103 for the same problem.

You can choose to ignore the error (although the error can still occur).
